Highly dramatic landscape/nature shot. The bold, jagged lines of the dead tree suggest an audacity on its part in relation to the wide horizon of the Grand Canyon's view, as though the tree considers itself still greater and more overwhelming as a photogenic spectacle than the landscape it can never actually conceal. Very unique and interesting framing of a much-photographed landscape...excellent photo.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
