Nothing like a cold glass of water in summer. This shot was NOT envisioned like this in my mind. I have no idea what happened. This almost looks like an X-Ray shot of the glass. Used Kodak Plus-X with a #25 Red Filter.
And yes, I know it is tilted. Looks so amateurish. "Colorized" in PSP7. And the frame is purposely titled as well.
Aperture: 5.6, Shutter speed: 10 seconds.

that.. is one really cool "mistake" if you will. it really looks interesting... i especially like how the frame fits into the picture, and the shadow gives it a curve. the icecubes and the glass itself just look so..... hmm... surreal? maybe thats it? its just really cool.
this is definatly a +fav

yes i agree with snafued, sometimes mistakes are blessings in disguise and this could be one of those times man. i really love the way the filter distorted everything, i totally agree with you on the x-ray look of it. i think its a good one. +fav for me also.
This, to me, looks sorta like a X-Ray of the water and ice. lol Cool idea and creativity!

If hypocrites and cynical people were flowers, then the whole world would be a garden...

Sometimes one just get lucky.. :) (Smile)

It almost looks infra-red. Almost. Kinda reminds me of how you're not supposed to drink the water in Mexico. This is a nice, original shot. Good job!

Refill only with Kikkoman.
the lil spec in the upperleft corner disturbs me...
otherwise i like this *x-ray* effect.
why was the tilt on purpose ?
cuz its soo slight.
I think it's wonderful that you write down the "how"
people don't do that enough, it's a great way to learn, someone should make this mandatory

b.t.w, was it 10 sec or 1/10sec?

Very cool trick!
